How To Make $3,000 A Month Filling Out Online Paid Surveys
(presented by www.paid-surveys-free.com - paid surveys)

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

Can you really make $3,000 a month filling out surveys? The answer is no, yes, and …it depends.

How no? Well, look at the math. The average paid survey pays $10 to $25. If you only filled out $25 surveys, you would need to fill out 120 surveys a month or 4 per day. Or 10 $10 surveys per day. Or some combination in-between. Generally the availability and the qualifying works against your achieving that by restricting the number of surveys and the target population.

There are not always that many paid surveys available, looking for takers. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. At any given time the sheer volume of surveys that pay in cash is not unlimited. So you may be ready willing and able, but there may not be enough surveys in your inbox to generate the volumes you would need.

And when there are more than enough paid surveys, there may not be enough aimed at the ‘valued opinion niche’ that you occupy. Some surveys are aimed at stay-at-home housewives with kids. Some are aimed at men over 60. Others are aimed at unmarried young people between the ages of 18 and 35. Still others will specify residents of Northern California. Obviously you cannot qualify for all. So while the sheer volume of available surveys may be adequate, your personal situation and demographics may prevent you from qualifying for enough of them to make $3,000 a month.

In fact, most survey takers report that while it is relatively easy to make $500 to $1,000 a month taking paid surveys, making any more than that is problematic. And so, on that basis, the answer to the $3,000 question is no.

How yes? The answer is to expand your concept and vision of what is involved. Go beyond the narrow definition of paid online surveys into the larger world of varied activities with similar results. Activities that put cash in your pocket without the necessity of you having to show up for a regular job.

The first thing to add is participating in focus groups. These are informal discussion groups, put together by the same agencies that send out paid surveys, with the purpose of discussing how you feel about some area of interest to marketers. You meet physically or via an Internet chat room type of connection and kick a subject around. One person’s answer sparks another’s comment while the moderator takes notes and records the session.

A subject might be, “How do you decide which laundry detergent to buy?” There is no single answer. Different people buy different products at different times for varying reasons. These reasons and their thinking at the moment is extremely interesting to whomever is running the ad campaign for a brand of washday detergent. Focus group participants get paid more, generally $50 to $250, depending on the subject and length of time required.

Then there are activities like mystery shopping, mystery restaurant guests, even mystery golfers. In these you can get paid to try something out, as though you were any other customer. Then you give a detailed evaluation of the experience to the marketing people who want to improve the experience for their paying customers.

Add to that similar paid activities for going to the movies, attending amusement parks, getting paid for driving your car with an advertisement on it… the list goes on. When you include and add up the income potential of all of these and similar activities, the answer becomes Yes, you can make $3,000 per month in cumulative income streams. This is especially true if you include the value of products and services received for free, just to try them out and report on your experiences.

And lastly, How, “it depends?” The amount of income you can really make depends on how you think about it and how diligently you work at it. If you define the idea of taking paid surveys to include similar activities to make money, the amount you can make at it goes up considerably. And, if you really work at it, perhaps $3,000 a month is not out of reach.

Survey Sites: How They Work
(presented by www.paid-surveys-free.com - paid surveys)

Friday, March 9th, 2007

Most survey sites are an extension of a Market Research company. They first build a large pool of online panelists with diverse interests. Then they start moving their market research (survey) online. They also start looking for new clients who are looking at market research to get information from current or prospective users. The more panelists a company has is as important as the profiles of the panelists. Companies who want to get the information through surveys only want to conduct surveys with good survey sites/companies which have the panelist profile matching their needs. (A Profile of a panelist is dependent upon factors like age, location, gender, income, products used, profession, interests, etc. There is no ideal profile as different surveys require different profiles)

Then the survey site starts sending survey invitations to all the eligible panelists based on their profiles. Some surveys have a “screener”. Under a screener they are asked a few questions to find out whether they are eligible for the survey. These screeners are used because some information is not present with these survey sites which is necessary to be eligible for surveys. For example a survey site is conducting a survey for Product X to find out why it is not selling & why its competing product (Product A) is selling very well. In the screener you are asked if you use either product X or A, all people who use either product X or A are selected.

All surveys do not have a screener. If there is a screener & you have cleared the screener, you are taken to the actual survey. In the survey you are asked questions like why you use product X or A (from the previous example), what are your expectations from this product, what you like & dislike about product X or A, what price would you be willing to pay for either product X or A, etc.

In other surveys you may be asked about other products or services. The questions would be: What you like, what you don’t like, what are your expectations, when do you use the product/service, etc. Lately there have also been surveys asking panelists what brand names will they like, what they don’t, what brand name is easier to remember, etc. There are also surveys conducted for products/services which will be launched in the future. These surveys are aimed at finding out what are the needs of potential users, what is the price potential users are willing to pay, etc. Finally, there are surveys aimed at certain professions (doctors, IT professional, etc) & decision makers (people who make the buying decisions of various products & services).

Typically surveys take 15-45 minutes to complete.

Most surveys pay US$2-US$150 per survey. There are also survey sites which will offer you gifts or a chance to win a prize as incentive to complete surveys. The longer the duration of the survey, the better is the incentive. You can also earn a referral income if the person you have referred has completed a survey. The incentive may be cash, gifts or additional entries for the draws.

Automotive Secret Shoppers
(presented by www.paid-surveys-free.com - paid surveys)

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

Every mishandled prospective customer in an automobile showroom represents a lost opportunity which translates into lost revenue. For steadily increasing revenue it is imperative to turn showroom traffic into real customers. Increased sales and profit generated thus, will improve the bottom-line.

To achieve this goal every automobile company needs a comprehensive training program that has specific sales training objectives. The training program should be tailored in a manner that specific sales performance concerns are addressed adequately. For this to happen the sales training program of an automotive company needs to be evaluated thoroughly for any possibilities of incorporating changes that will lead to optimization of resources and consequently to optimal sales.

Automotive secret shoppers provide an invaluable performance measurement tool that is sought after by many of the top automotive organizations. Successful secret shopping in the automotive marketplace demands a detailed knowledge of the industry. So, agencies either employ experienced shoppers or train new recruits for the automotive industry. As a result several customer service and customer experience programs in new and used vehicle sales, service and parts for a variety of automotive industry clients have been developed. As per the demands of a particular company appropriate programs are chosen and tailored to fit.

Automotive secret shoppers give feedback about what kind of information is revealed during a used car sales pitch. Though withholding negative information from a client is not ethically right, it needs to be couched in euphemisms and delivered in a convincing manner. It is up to the customer to decide for or against the vehicle.

A typical report by an automotive secret shopper may include personal details about a sales person like his like greeting and opening remarks, appearance and attitude, and needs analysis and probing skills. Technical evaluation may include information about product knowledge and demonstration skills, sales presentation skills, negotiation techniques and closing skills. Reports about the facility in general will include feedback on the cleanliness of the facility, showroom and parking lot.

Secret Shoppers provides detailed information on Hotel Secret Shoppers, How To Become A Secret Shopper, Restaurant Secret Shoppers, Secret Shopper Associations and more. Secret Shoppers is affiliated with Become a Mystery Shopper.

Finally - A Paid Survey Site That Pays
(presented by www.paid-surveys-free.com - paid surveys)

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

If you find a paid online survey site I’ve probably been a member of it! To be honest most had very little content and I struggled to make my money back for the joining fee let alone making a decent second income from it. I got a tip from a friend who was like me looking to make more money about one he had found on the net.

I’ve never normally been a fan of these membership sites from past experience so you can guess what my thoughts were when I had this tip from my friend about this paid survey site. The only reason I took a look is because he’s a good friend and when he’s given me advice before he’s been dead right.

I took a look at the website and although it seemed it would probably have much more jobs and higher payouts than other ones that i had joined, I still was fairly skeptical and didn’t want to spend any more money on dodgy sites.

A few days later I saw my friend and he told me he’d earned $200 in a single day!

At first i was a bit suspect because it sounded too easy but he wouldn’t lie so I decided to take another look.As I’ve already said looking at the web page it looked like it actually might be worth joining and it was only $34.95 to join and it was pay day. But this was going to be the last one I join, If this doesn’t work I’m calling it a day. The site also had a money back guarantee so I thought this time I’d give it a go.

So is this site any good?……

I was very pleasantly surprised. The sign up fee I made back in the first 2 surveys I took, both on the same day which went into my account 24 hours later. There was a huge selection of survey companies all which I’ve tried so far pay on time which is one of the most important things. There are actually over 300 survey companies in it’s database which pay on average $4 to $75 per survey. You can also get as much as $150 when you join a focus group. This company also is global so it doesn’t matter if you live outside the U.K or U.S. They’ve also got their own software to help you fill out the forms so you don’t have to spend hours typing the same thing. You can also get paid for trying new products which you get to keep. You can even get paid to preview movie trailers! You can also get paid for driving your own car! I’ve got to admit you can’t go wrong joining this site and it’s impossible not to make money out of it. It’s amazing to think that you can actually quit your job and do something so much easier and work when you want to.

The site also has several good bonus items including how to get paid reading emails, get paid for shopping. I’d honestly recommend doing surveys with this site to anyone to. It’s impossible not to make money from joining and can financially improve your life to make it much more comfortable. I’ve put the link below so you can take a look, but you’ve got nothing to lose! (Make sure you tell your family but don’t tell too many friends keep it quiet).

Review of products on the web to help people try and avoid the traps i have fallen into. http://www.goarticles.com/cgi-bin/showa.cgi?C=409949

Online Paid Surveys: A Way To Supplement Other Income
(presented by www.paid-surveys-free.com - paid surveys)

Sunday, March 4th, 2007

There are many ads that say Free Paid Surveys, Get Paid to take Surveys, Take Online Surveys for CASH and it is common for most people to wonder whether these claims are true or not. Are paid surveys for real and can one earn money from them or are they just scams? You may be surprised to know that it is possible to earn money from taking paid surveys. The number of companies that offer paid surveys is staggering and one can take paid surveys alone or in focus groups or even test products. The market research companies are paid by large corporations to find out the opinions of the general public concerning their products and want to know if their campaigns for advertising are working and what is the feedback from the ordinary person regarding their products.

Helps Large Corporations - Get Paid for Online Survey

Taking paid surveys is one way to help large corporations who spend billions each year on advertising and who find that for the price of a few dollars a person’s opinion would help them save plenty of money by acting on the feedback in a positive manner. The need to find out what the ordinary person thinks or feels about their products is the reason why they send out surveys and people are taking paid surveys and making money too.

However, certain misconceptions regarding taking paid surveys exist as there are many companies claiming that one can even earn $250 per hour taking paid surveys but the average is about $2 and $20, though focus groups are able to earn those sums. The paid survey sites are also many and there are paid survey directories as well as databases and also many paid survey companies.

Keep in mind that if the reason for taking paid surveys is to generate a full time income then paid surveys may not be right choice and even though one can make good money taking paid surveys it will most probably not be enough to make one rich. It is however, fine to make additional money as a supplement to normal income and does not require much effort or time. A good course of action is to join as many survey companies as possible and then start taking paid surveys from them and this would increase the chances of earning more money. There are some screener questions that are asked to ascertain that the profile fits the survey and only if it does can one proceed in taking paid surveys.
