Because paid surveys have been around for a while there are now many websites offering paid surveys. The popularity of paid online surveys has been on the rise over the past couple years because of an increase in unemployment and people just want an easy way to make some extra money.
Getting started
It is very easy to get started on a paid survey website. Many of the websites do not charge a sign up fee and their commissions are very good. The registration process usually only takes several minutes so you can be on your way to some extra money in no time.
(Article continues below) PAID SURVEYS ADVERTISEMENT The role of location
One thing that is commonly not considered is the location where the paid survey website is based out of. For example if you live in the U.S. And the website location is in Europe you need to make sure that you will be able to receive your commission. It is always better to find a website that is based out of the same country you are, just to ensure a good experience.
Making a selection
It is very easy to find a good paid survey website, just use your favorite search engine to lookup

Paid Surveys

Even though there are paid surveys for just about everything under the sun, there are certain types of paid surveys that are more common than others and these are the ones that you’re going to get the most of. By knowing what these are and what demographic they’re looking for, you’ll know what your chances are of getting a survey of a certain type and also what your chances are of qualifying for them. With this information, you can make an informed decision about whether or not you even want to bother doing this.
Like it or not, we still live in a stereotyped world. The man goes to work and the woman stays home and takes care of the house. So surveys geared to work are aimed at men and surveys geared to household products are aimed at women. That is just the way it is and there’s nothing in the world that is going to change that stereotype.
Having said that, unfortunately for you guys, the majority of surveys that are offered by these paid survey sites are for household products. Probably the most common of all these surveys are those that ask about shopping habits. These surveys cover the whole range of just about everything that you can buy for the home from laundry detergent to dishwashing liquid. These surveys are also usually very long and therefore pay the most. The screening questions for these surveys usually ask if you do most of the shopping for the home. If you’re a guy and have never bothered stepping into a supermarket, don’t even bother trying to take these surveys. You won’t be able to answer most of the questions anyway.
Another very common type of survey is one that asks about feminine products. These surveys will usually focus on the different brands and ask which ones you use. The surveys will then usually ask you if you would consider trying a new product and then give you the product description and price. You are then asked to evaluate the product based on that description and price. This is how companies do pre marketing analysis to determine if !
a produc
t they are thinking of coming out with has a chance of being a big seller. For those wondering, this is the main reason why these paid survey sites even exist.
(Article continues below) PAID SURVEYS ADVERTISEMENT Another common survey today, because of the increase in technology, is the survey that asks the business owner what type of computer system he uses. The survey may go into great detail and even ask what type of applications are used. In order to break these surveys down into demographics, pre screening questions include how many employees the company has and how much money the company makes in a year. If you’re a company owner or executive don’t even bother taking these surveys. You’ll never be able to get through them.
Obviously, there are more types of paid surveys than these, but the ones above are the ones that you will run into most often. This is why it is so hard for many people to fall into the right demographic to even qualify to take a paid survey.

Paid Surveys

If you’re going to try to make a side income from taking paid surveys on the Internet, there are a few things that you’re going to want to do in order to get the most out of your efforts. Otherwise, you’re just going to end up spinning your wheels and not get anywhere. Trust me on this one. You definitely need a game plan when attacking those surveys.
The first thing you must understand is that you are never going to get rich from taking surveys. They just don’t pay enough. You’d have to join more survey sites and take more surveys in a day than are physically possible to make anything even close to a living wage. So get that idea out of your mind right from the start. Paid surveys will give you a side income and that’s about it.
The next thing you have to do when taking paid surveys is look for survey sites that pay in cash and cash only. You don’t want to bother with sites that pay you in sweepstakes and discounts on products and services unless you’re interested in those kind of things. If you’re primarily looking to make an income from doing this, you don’t want to bother with those sites. You can use sites that pay in points that you can trade in for cash but find out what the exchange rate is on those points. You don’t want to waste your time on a survey site that pays only a few dollars for a ridiculous amount of points. You want your hourly pay to come out to at least $5 an hour. You’re not going to get much more than that.
The next thing you want to do when taking paid surveys is be honest with your screening questions. These are questions that many sites will ask you before they actually give you a survey to take. The purpose of these screening questions is to find out if you’re in the right demographic for the survey they’re offering. While this may not seem important, it is. If the survey is targeting women who do most of the food shopping in the house, they don’t want to give that survey to the man of the house. So don’t lie on the screening question an!

d say yo
u’re a woman. Besides, you won’t know what the screening is for anyway before taking the survey so you wouldn’t know what the “right” answers are anyway. Many people try to fool the system. In other words, they take guesses at what they’re looking for. Trust me, this never works and you’ll just be wasting your time.
The next thing you want to do when taking a paid survey is actually read all the questions and not just check off a single row. Not all the questions will fall into a certain answer range. If the survey company sees that you’re doing this and believe me they’ll find out, they will either remove you from the system or they’ll stop sending you surveys altogether.
Like I said, you can make a few bucks taking surveys, but the key is to be honest. In the long run, if you’re not, they’ll find out and you’ll lose any chance of making any income at all.
